No. Any Squarespace website is eligible for our SEO retainer. Existing Sophia Studio clients benefit from a faster start since we already know the site and brand — but new clients are welcome and begin with an SEO Site Audit to establish a clear baseline.

When we build a website at Sophia Studio, SEO best practices are part of how we work — from site structure and page hierarchy to metadata, image optimization, and clean URL slugs. Returning clients start from a stronger foundation, which means less setup, less cleanup, and more of the monthly retainer focused on building new content and visibility.
New clients require a more thorough onboarding process — auditing an existing site, setting up and connecting Google tools, and in many cases addressing foundational issues before new content can be built effectively. That additional work is reflected in the monthly rate.
